Children's Afro Texured Hair Product Children's hair is usually delicate and should grow as natural as possible. Twists and braids are good for children's Afro textured hair. The twists and braids should not be put in too tight. Hot pressing/flat ironing is not so bad if it is not done too often and a heat guard is added before you add heat. :I love the Afro Detangler! I washed/conditioned my daughter's natural (4B, 9 inch long) hair this past weekend. I have always washed her hair in thick braids because her hair is so thick, and this method makes it more manageable. (So, thank you for sharing this method with everyone!) I used the Afro Detangler as a leave in conditioner. Then, after taking each wet braid out, I put a little more Afro Detangler on each wet braid, and used my fingers to detangle. Wow! Then, I followed with a wide-tooth comb. Her hair was so soft. I blowed her hair dry, using a little more AfroDetangler before blow-drying each section. I have also been using a little nightly before braiding her hair. Her hair is so moist! and not oily! Previously, I was using hair oils, pomades, etc.. but the puff was always so dry. It also softens her "kitchen" (area at the nape of the neck), which usually gets tangled easily. This product is wonderful. Thank you!
