Swimming Hair Care For African Descents
Natural and Afro Hair If you swim daily: Precondition your hair day before by using Le Kair Cholesterol Plus 4-60 minutes under heating cap or with a plastic processing cap over your head. Rinse, add hair strengthener like Infusum 23 leave in conditioner. Apply Afro Detangler. Wear a swim cap.

After Swimming: rinse, use a swim shampoo (listed below) and repeat the conditioning & shampooing process each time before swimming.

Relaxed & Permed Hair---Swim Daily : Precondition your hair day before by using Le Kair Cholesterol Plus 40-60 minutes under heating cap or with a plastic processing cap over your head. Rinse, add hair strengthener like Infusum 23 leave in conditioner. Apply Flat Ironing Creme if you will blow dry or flat iron your hair. Blow-dry on medium. Flat Ironing before swimming is not a priority. Wear a swim cap. If not, then apply Flat Ironing Creme to damp hair and blow dry lightly.
After Swimming: rinse, use a swim shampoo (listed below) and repeat the conditioning & shampooing process each time before swimming.

Braid Extensions--Natural Afro Hair Braided Or Relaxed-Permed Hair: Precondition your hair a day before by diluting shampoo and water in a large cup and pouring over your braid. Do this in the shower, and then sponge wash. Towel squeeze and add hair strengthen such as Infusium 23 leave in conditioner. Then add braid spray. See this video on how to thoroughly saturate.
Swim Cap: Optional, since you will still shampoo and condition your hair after swimming in case any of the chlorine water and chemical deposits from the pool or ocean makes contact with your hair.

NOTE: I am sure there are other good products in salons worldwide. I am giving you a basic concept of how to care for you hair before & after swimming to prevent breakage and damage to keep a flow of healthy grow hair.

Swim Shampoos
1. J. F. Lazartigue - After Swimming Shampoo. After Swimming Hair Care Shampoo gently removes harmful particles, (very mild on hair--use daily if swimming daily)
2. Aquia Swimmers Shampoo. Help alleviate the effects of chlorine and other pool chemicals, as well as hard water, minerals, sun and salt. (Use 2 times a week if you swim 2 times a week)
3. KMS Daily Fixx Clarifying Shampoo (used for after swimming) Use if you do not swim daily---once a month swimming.
